New Chairman announced
New Chairman of EBTS UK Chris Poole with Countess Véronique Goblet d’Alviella at the 20th Anniversary Party
During the celebrations of 20th years of EBTS, Mark Hopkins announced that Chris Poole would become Chairman of EBTS UK subject to ratification at the next AGM.
Chris has been running the EBTS website since 2008 and sat on the UK council for the last 7 years. He is a keen amateur topiarist, liking clean forms and organised but relaxed gardens.
In the coming years Chris hopes to help EBTS UK enhance the way it promotes boxwood & topiary through education and also to increase the attraction and benefits of the society to bring in more members across a wider age range.
