Busy Planting Box in the Chilterns

The Chiltern Society eNews reports that at the end of March 42 volunteers planted around 2000 small trees made up mainly of box but also holly, juniper, whitebeam and field maple.  The work is part of a long term project ‘to increase the continuity of Box woodland in the area close to Ellesborough Warren the largest box woodland in England at 12HA‘.
