In March a researcher from Gardeners’ World contacted EBTS as the programme wanted to run a story on the impact of the box tree moth and caterpillar.  There followed a couple of phone calls with the programme talking them through details and pointing them to the EBTS website for more information.

EBTS suggested that the programme film at Ham House, near Richmond, to look at the moth deterrent trials that we have facilitated and see how Rosie Fyles (HG) & her team at Ham, have worked with EBTS to create an effective and manageable strategy for controlling the invasive pest.

Filmed on 16th May with Nick Bailey the programme was broadcast on Friday 28th June on BBC Two at 8pm.
