Box Moth Tracker gets a new look

Since 2015 EBTS UK has been collecting user generated sightings of Box Tree Moth, caterpillars and trap installations. All this data has now been added to the new map, helping train its algorithms to give better predictions in your area when combined with live weather data and new sightings. Whats more you can now also download it as an App on your phone making it much quicker and easier to add new sightings.

With your help we can give each other an early warning of when Box Tree Moth and its caterpillars are active. Using the online map you can see reports from across the country and beyond — and thanks to a new tool developed with Topbuxus, the tracker now also draws on lifecycle and weather data to help anticipate when activity is likely in your area, not just where it’s been seen.

Spotted a box tree moth, caterpillar, or have a trap in your garden? Add it to the map — the more reports the better. Every sighting helps warn your fellow gardeners and makes the tracker’s predictions sharper for everyone.
