A good topiary listen
Sally Flatman talks to Diana Boston & Chris Crowder about their lives with topiary in Episode 8 of her podcast series Our Plant Stories.
Diana Boston lives at The Manor in Hemingford Grey. The house and gardens inspired her mother, Lucy Boston’s books: The Children of Green Knowe. The garden is open daily but tours of the house are by appointment only.
Chris Crowder is the Head Gardener at Levens Hall in Cumbria (visited recently on our EBTS UK AGM weekend) and he looks after some incredible pieces of topiary – some of them are 300 years old.
