New addition to NewGen boxwood from Saunders Brothers
New for 2024 in the USA
NewGen Liberty Belle™ is the newest addition to the NewGen® family as selected by breeder Robert Head in Seneca, SC. It topped the Saunders Genetics boxwood blight trials for three years running with its superior resistance to boxwood blight, good resistance to boxwood leaf miner, and beauty in the landscape. It is a petite boxwood with a lovely low, billowing form that won’t overwhelm small spaces.
Retailers, landscape professionals, and homeowners can expect limited availability of NewGen Liberty Belle™ in the USA in 2024 and greater availability in 2025.
