Proposal Sent Off

Just to let you know that I have sent the proposal documents to Plant Heritage for discussion at the Plant Conservation Committee (PCC) at their next meeting on the 13th June.
Plant Heritage have already acknowledged receipt , and say they are ‘thrilled’ by the proposal.
Rosie Yeomans (Plant Heritage Area Coordinator) will be at that meeting and will explain the background to our proposal.
Assuming all goes well , we will then be invited to submit our Formal Application for National Collection Status. The PCC will tell us what we have to do to satisfy the requirements for National Collection Status Holders. Once we get the go-ahead Ashley (owner), Chris (EBTS UK) and ourselves will need to meet and work through the detailed Application Form to ensure all parties are happy with it before submission to Plant Heritage.
Have worked on a plant list for Langley & Ickworth NT and also a suggested acquisition list of plants to add to the collection and where these may be available to us.
