Australia & New Zealand get a Buxus & Topiary Society
EBTS UK members Richard & Lucy Marshall are based in Australia and have an amazing garden called Merribee. Clearly they can’t easily attend our visits and trips or meet up with other members, so their solution set up the Australian & New Zealand Buxus & Topiary Society.
ANZBTS
Are you working in horticulture – with an interest in topiary and buxus or boxwood care and display?
Perhaps you’re a professional in garden maintenance | decorative display | garden travel / tours | garden design | horticultural science / research | botanical drawing, etc?
Join our newly minted Australia & New Zealand Buxus & Topiary Society (ANZBTS).
A sister society to well-established EBTS and ABS.
We’d love to hear from you as a potential member and/or participant in our society. Perhaps you can help build and administer our membership activities, alliances and partnerships?
We have some great international alliance opportunities available through our European EBTS partners — both continental EBTS and UK EBTS are keen to work closely with us.
Please DM on Instagram if you’d like more information on membership and early details of our vision/plan.
Lucy and I are hosting the Inaugural Topiary Festival May 12-15, 2022, coinciding with World Topiary Day. So please come and say hi and see our garden and topiary display at Merribee, if you can.
We look forward to working with you in the service of our brilliant topiary & buxus enthusiasts in Australia and NZ.
Best wishes,
Richard.
They have got off to a great start with a Topiary & Hedging Festival that coincides with World Topiary Day and a website is being developed and will appear at www.anzbts.org once it has been setup.
We’d like to wish Richard and Lucy all the best and look forward to sharing knowledge, experience and friendship with the new society.
