Welcome to our new Chairman
It is my great pleasure, as your former Chairman, to let you know that Will McQuitty-Munnis was co-opted onto the council as its new Chairman this weekend. The position will be formal ratified with a vote at the next AGM in May. In the meantime I hope you will all welcome him into the Society as warmly as we did at the Council meeting and wish him all the best in his new role.
Chris Poole
Former EBTS UK Chairman
“Will McQuitty-Munnis, 46 year old Managing Director of a Commercial Contracts practice, I divide my time between London and the Cotswolds; passionate about art and architecture, I have over the past few years developed a love of topiary through the trials and tribulations of the restoration of my listed Cotswolds house and walled garden. I joined the EBTS as part of a ‘Learn To Clip’ course. I very much enjoyed this, and a trip to the Calvados region with some other members – so much so that I have decided to devote as much of my spare time as possible to the Society, as Chairman, and am very much looking forward to helping EBTS to grow from strength to strength; forging stronger links with our European partners and encouraging others to join and support our wonderful organisation”.
