The amazing topiary of Friar Park

EBTS France has a scoop in its latest magazine, an interview and lots of pictures of Friar Park which is owned by EBTS UK member Olivia Harrison.

Patrick Salembier, President of EBTS France explains the background to how this came about:

…As far as I am concerned, I invite you to look back: the funeral of Elizabeth II and the arrival of the new King Charles III on the throne have certainly brought back to the memory of some of our stays in England, at a time when the Beatles were idols for many young people.
Long after, for the huge fan of the band that I was and still am, it was an honor to be able to communicate with Olivia Harrison, George’s widow, through Rachel Cooper, his personal assistant. Three years of exchanges have enabled the production of a beautiful and rare document in which Olivia introduces EBTS members to the topiaries of Friar Park, a magical place where her husband fell in love with gardening at the end of 20th century.
