Price reductions to help fight Box Tree Moth & Caterpillar
Some good news if you are running low on Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) based spray to tackle the box tree caterpillars, which are currently going into the pupae stage ready to transform into moths and give us another wave of caterpillars. PlantPro, who have a range of products aimed at Buxus, have let us know that they have reduced the price of their Bt spray BuxRevive to £12.99 for 5×3 grams which will cover 150m2 of Buxus hedging or topiary.
Plant GP’s Boxtree Caterpillar Treatment, another Bt based product, has also reduced it’s price and is supplied in slightly larger quantities at 50g per packet rather than 15g.
Don’t forget you can still get XenTari, which is based on the same bacteria Bt, from TopBuxus and if you order via the EBTS UK shop link we get 10% of the purchase price to help with the work we do letting people know what to do with their boxwood and topiary.

For the professional out there, Box T Press Pro, the mating disruption product from M2I sold in the UK through Fargro, has also been given a new lower price – something we have been pushing for here at EBTS UK.
The 250 dose packs now have an RRP of £225 (ex VAT) which is a significant reduction though maybe not as much as we would have liked, however if you buy multiple packs, there are multi-buy reductions available which is good news for larger properties or where your company serves multiple gardens.
